Every spring, the coastal town of Jinhae transforms into a magical landscape, with millions of cherry blossoms draping the streets, parks, and waterfronts in soft, pink hues. This year’s festival, held from March 28 to April 6, promises an unforgettable experience with its picturesque cherry blossom tunnels, cultural performances, and street food vendors offering local delicacies.

Yeojwacheon Stream – The Dreamy Cherry Blossom Walk
If you love a scenic stroll, this is the place to be. Cherry trees arch over the stream, creating a beautiful pink canopy. The Romance Bridge is a favorite photo spot, and at night, the area lights up with lanterns, making it even more magical. There are also cultural performances here, so it’s more than just a pretty view!
Gyeonghwa Station – The Famous Train Track
This is one of the most iconic spots during the festival. The old train tracks are lined with cherry trees, creating a stunning pink tunnel. Even though trains don’t run here anymore, it’s still a must-visit for that picture-perfect shot. When the wind blows, the petals fall like pink snow—absolutely magical!
Anmingogae Hill – The Cherry Blossom Tunnel
If you’re up for a scenic drive or a long walk, Anmingogae Hill is perfect. A 6-kilometer stretch of road is lined with cherry trees on both sides, forming the famous Jinhae Cherry Blossom Tunnel. Along the way, you’ll get amazing views of Jinhaeman Bay, Ungsan Mountain, and Cheonjabong Peak. There are even benches along the route, so you can sit, relax, and just soak it all in.
Jehwangsan Park – Best View of Jinhae
Want to see the entire city covered in cherry blossoms? Head to Jehwangsan Park! You can either walk up the 365-step staircase (lined with cherry trees) or take the monorail to the Jehwangsan Observatory. From the top, you get a breathtaking panoramic view of Jinhae in full bloom. It’s definitely worth the climb!

The most straightforward option for visiting Jinhae from Seoul is booking an all-day tour. For those preferring to venture on their own, there are two main DIY travel methods:
By Bus
- Depart from Seoul’s Nambu Bus Terminal for a journey of approximately 4+ hours directly to Jinhae bus terminal. And it’s a bit of a walk to the Jungwon Intersection which is the main event spot.
- The bus ticket price from Seoul to Jinhae is 35,700 KRW for adults, 28,600 KRW for teenagers, and 17,900 KRW for kids.
- Check the bus schedule and book the ticket online.
By Train
- Travel to Changwon Station via Korail, then switch to a local bus or taxi for the final leg to Jinhae. Plus, this is the ultimate guide to Korean trains (Korail) and KTX.
- KTX ticket price from Seoul to Changwon is 53,000 KRW for adults, and 26,500 KRW for kids.
- Make sure to check train schedules and book the ticket online in advance.
From Busan to Jinhae:
Being significantly closer, Busan offers a quick, roughly one-hour trip to Jinhae using the Busan Seobu Terminal. Tours from Busan are also available for those seeking a guided experience.
Navigating from Jinhae Terminal
Upon arriving at Jinhae Terminal, it’s a manageable walk to the Jungwon Intersection, a central point of interest. While I’ve included a map for reference, I strongly advise downloading KakaoMap for accurate, real-time navigation within Korea; Google Maps may not always provide the most reliable directions in this region.
